Grad Session Details & Booking Instructions

Booking

Using the link in my IG bio, you can book the session you're interested in and see what dates I'm available! I will only have weekends open for grad sessions since I do work mon-fri.

Retainer

All sessions require a retainer to be paid when booking in order to secure your session, date & time. The amount will depend on which package you are booking. Retainer will go towards the total and is not an additional fee. Zelle, or Venmo preferred for retainer.

Payment

Full payment is required before or on the day of the session. I accept Zelle, or Venmo for any payments.

Meeting up

We will coordinate a meet up spot beforehand somewhere on campus. Please try your best to arrive on time so we can take advantage of all our time during our session.

Turnover

You can expect to receive your full online gallery within 1-2 weeks after our session date. The gallery will be sent via email and text message and you'll be able to download right away!

Ideas & Props

Feel free to bring any props you would like to use for your photos! Please refrain from bringing any items which may be prohibited to use in your specific university. Some props which are mostly not prohibited are balloons, flowers/floral petals, and sometimes bio degradable confetti. You are more than welcome to present to me any ideas, concepts, or poses you’d like to try during our shoot! In fact, I encourage you to bring your personal ideas to mix it up during our shoot! After all, this grad shoot is to celebrate you and your accomplishments :)

FAQ

What does the process look like when booking a grad session?

A.When visiting my site, you will see my 2026 grad packages and what they include. There will be a “Book” button which will direct you to a booking site where you can see my available dates & times, fill out a questionnaire, sign an agreement and review retainer information. Next we will set up a phone call or zoom meeting in order to break the ice and talk more in depth on how I can best tailor your session and answer any questions!

What Universities will I be available to travel to?

A.This year I will be available for any Southern California University within the Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Orange County areas. Please contact me if your university resides in another area and would like an inquiry!

How far in advance should I book?

A.I encourage you to book 2-4 weeks in advance from the date you want your session to be. For example, if you would like your grad shoot to be sometime at the end of April, then I would recommend booking at the end of March or beginning of April. Please remember that my bookings are first come first serve. Another thing to keep in mind is booking for an earlier date is always better since its a bit calmer and not many folks are doing grad shoots early in spring. Once we start getting closer towards your graduation date and end of spring, it will definitely start getting crowded on campus!

Will there be any fees added for travel and parking?

A.Travel will already be included in the initial package, however I will add a fee for parking depending on how much your university charges.

What can I expect on the day of my grad shoot?

A.On the day of your shoot, I will be in contact with you throughout the day letting you know when I arrive on campus, and be at our agreed meet up spot. I will share my location with you just in case I get lost. After meeting, we can begin walking towards our first on campus location where you'd like to take photos. If there happens to be other graduates taking photos at the spot, we can always wait in line and do quick fun portraits or shoot some content for my social media while we wait!

Can I bring family or friends?

A.Yes, any family or friends are more than welcome to be there with you for emotional support during our session! They can also hop in for a few group photos with you throughout our session at no extra charge. You can also use them to carry your belongings and props :)

Will there be any add ons?

A.The only initial add on I will have available will be adding extra time which varies from 30 minutes to an hour. After concluding our shoot and when I have sent out your gallery, you may purchase any additional prints alongside the 8x10 print that’s included with your package.

Do I need to have experience in posing?

A.No need to worry if this is your first time working with a photographer or if you have little to no experience in posing! I will guide you through some of my favorite poses to do for grad shoots. I don’t have the most perfect memory so I will have a list of poses on my phone which I will occasionally use throughout our session.

How many digital images can I expect to receive?

A.The amount of photos you can expect to receive varies depending on which package you choose. On average for Solo Sessions it’s between 40-60 images, Duos 30-50 images per student and for Groups it’s 20-40 images per student. Along with the 8x10 print that will be mailed to you whether it’s a solo, duo or group session :)
